Juan Gil de Hontañón
Introducción Discípulo de Simón de Colonia y representante de la última fase del gótico. Ayudado por su hijo, Juan Gil de Hontañón el Mozo, trabajó (1513) como maestro de obras en la catedral de Salamanca, siguiendo las trazas de Antón Egas y Alfonso Rodríguez. Colaboró también en la construcción de la catedral de Sevilla y en la colegiata de Valladolid.
