Batalla de Alarcos
Historia Rotas las treguas acordadas por cristianos y musulmanes (1190-1194), posiblemente a causa de la incursión realizada en territorios musulmanes por Martín López, arzobispo de Toledo, Ya'qub al-Mansur regresó a Sevilla desde Marruecos. Se puso al frente de un ejército, que partió de esa ciudad el 27 de mayo y el 13 de julio establecía su campamento en el puerto del Congosto, a dos jornadas de Alarcos.
